Dr. Michael Stosich To Speak at Conference in China

KENILWORTH AND WILMETTE, ILLINOIS – Our very own Wilmette orthodontics expert Dr. Michael Stosich recently was invited to take part in a prestigious event this December in China.

Dr. Stosich will speak at the BIT Life Sciences 5th Annual Congress of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell 2012 in Guangzhou Dec. 2-4.

More than 100 of the world’s most respected research and commercial institutions in regenerative medicine and stem cell research and development will be represented at the event. Dr. Stosich’s presentation will be among more than 200 presentations related to science, technology and business development given by leading scientists and industrial executives from throughout the world.

Stem cell research is a topic of great interest for Dr. Stosich, a child and adult braces expert who has devoted a great deal of his education to this emerging field.

“I always wanted to be an expert in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine because I feel that’s the future of medicine and dentistry,” he says. “These kinds of advancements and research correlate directly to the next cutting-edge therapy that patients can benefit from. These are proven therapies.”

Kenilworth orthodontist, Dr. Stosich completed a craniofacial research fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania, the top children’s hospital in North America, where he implemented this kind of cornerstone fundamental knowledge. Today, stem cell therapy ranges from growing your own teeth from your own cells to growing parts of the bones and soft tissue of your face.

“I look forward to speaking on this topic during the Congress, and also of learning more about it from others, says the Wilmette Invisalign provider.

At 33, Dr. Stosich has accomplished a great deal in this innovative field and his expansive education- which amounts to twice as much education as orthodontists are required to complete- is to thank for it.

In addition to his education and research related to craniofacial deformities and stem cell therapy, the Kenilworth SureSmile expert is the only university-trained orthodontist in SureSmile treatment. Numerous orthodontists have adopted this treatment, but Dr. Stosich was trained by the inventor of SureSmile.

RMSC-2012 offers an opportunity for attendees to learn about the lasted research progress, to seek cooperation and to gain new ideas through communication with international experts.
