Wilmette Orthodontist a Man of Expertise, Service to Others
WILMETTE, IL-Not many orthodontists can say they have the education and training of Stosich Consulting’ Dr. Michael Stosich. But even with his sterling professional background, Dr. Stosich pushes to make a positive impact in the community as well.
Growing up in Chicago, he always wanted to serve others. Dr. Stosich quickly realized that orthodontics would pave the way for his career. He spent seven years at elite research universities where he experimented how teeth could move more efficiently through bone.
His results led to critical advancements in treating orthodontic patients. Dr. Stosich consequently earned recognition by the National Institute of Health, which allows his patients to enjoy the most innovative of orthodontic care.
The smiles on the faces of the patients he treats represents the true passion of Dr. Stosich, so much so that he continued his training in craniofacial research and treatments. He was awarded a fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the top of its class in North America.
Now, Dr. Stosich heads the University of Chicago Medical Center’s orthodontic division in the craniofacial anomalies program and cleft lip and palate clinics. He specializes in cleft lip and palate cases, an area in desperate need of expertise that Dr. Stosich holds.
Through his Smiles for Service foundation, Dr. Stosich actively demonstrates his love for helping those less fortunate with various orthodontic scholarships and pay-it-forward models.
Dr. Stosich is thrilled about the birth of his practice in the north shore, saying that its creation is a dream.
Dr. Stosich and his family reside in Wilmette and look forward to becoming an active part in the community.
